| Lapua doesn't list .308 as Match Brass but from its reputation I wouldn't pass it by. Brass advertised as match fits a tolerance window that is repeatable and defined to attempt to reduce variation. From what people who use it say it meets their expecations. Most of my match brass (5.56) is once fired Black Hills Match, meaning Winchester Match. I also know several F Class shooters using Lake City Long Range brass with great success.
A bad day at the range is better than a good day at work.

| Everything Lapua does is "Match" quality. |

| There is Lake City brass and there is Lake City Match brass and so stamped. Most Lake City Match brass will also have a slight scrolling around the base end of the case whereas the std. LC will not. I am not aware of any "match" 223 brass coming from Lake City, but your Lapua brass of whatever caliber would be match quality. Lapua has always given me the most life with Lake City Match 308/'06 a close second. As others have mentioned, Lapua is about as good as it gets based on my experience with it. |

| The word out of Benchrest Centeral (dot com) is that .308 Win. Lapua brass is the standard by which other brass is measured. |
