Im in the market for a new upper end scope. Night Force has caught my eye. Anyone with user info please enlighten me as to their quality, clarity and ruggedness. I've read some good reports and talked to some people that say they hear a lot of 1000yd guys using them!I've grown to like the Nikon line due to my own personal experience. Please advise.

I've never tried night force but if your a nikon guy I'd check out the Burris Black Diamond series... as you can see by my signature and my 1/4 MOA groups you may see the same. I love my Nikon and put my Burris at the same position as my Nikon maybe a little lower in clarity but damn the Burris is nice for the price.... they have gone up 80$ in 1 year tho...

I think March is the best choice, though pricy. The 10-60 power is out of sight. For less money my next choice would be a Nightforce.

I believe he said he was in the market for a top quality scope or the upper end. I don't think Burris or Nikon will make the cut for long range shooting.

Nightforce are good but a little delicate. S&B are better IMO

I've never seen anything "delicate" on Nightforce scopes.

You are right Eddie. I just put a March on my LV rifle for the Super Shoot. Will you be there next week?

Butch, sorry to say I have to pass this year. My "big adventure" this year might be a PD hunt in NM. Good Luck!

I have 4 of the Nightforce Benchrest scopes. They are rugged as a boot. They track well and give great depth perception. Only drawback is they are heavy and can be hard to make weight for class.
