In what ways are melonited or black nitrided, QPQ'd barrels different
Looking for information as to longevity, observations regarding accuracy and fouling, and any loading techniques which might enhance the use of such a barrel.

Thank you

Melonite QPQ will greatly increase your barrel life. It is easier to clean. It has absolutely no effect on accuracy. It takes just a small amount more powder charge. I have been using it for several years now. It works great on sizing dies. Much slicker. It is a low temp salt bath case hardening. With my gauge pins I find no change in bore diameter and my gauge pins are in .0001 increments.
I use Mimi Trutec.
