There were several shooters at the 2010 IBS 600 yard nationals shooting 8208XBR, mostly in 6mmBR's. I don't know how they did though.

My 16.75" stub/switch barrel 6BR NEF Handi likes it very well for the lightest Nosler and Horn bullets on varmits and such out to 200-250 or so. No where near benchrest but 3-6 accuracy and nice handling. Not bad for a 30 odd year Douglas air-gauged take-off and chopped down barrel that was previously a 6mm-284 I swore was shot out. I have it on the todo list for a few 221 and 223 case size iterations. It might just work in some of the larger caliber straight walled cases such as 458 American, 458 WM and 45-70 although I haven't seen any load data yet or anyone who has tried it in those cases. The burning rate is in the right range. Luck
