Anyone using Sierra 100gr HPBT Match?I'm shooting them in a Ruger #1 V with a 24" barrel,dissapointed in the results.I'm using IMR 4350 between 49-51 grains,any info out there?

Tom, I hope you are not disapointed in what your gun is doing by comparing it to what a number of these guys say they shoot with a similar rifle. The average factory rifle is doing well to shoot 1 inch groups at 100 yards, if you try to duplicate what some of these guys claim they are shooting, you are in for a lot of disapointments.

Try the 100 grn Sierra Flatbase hunting bullet with 52 grn of IMR 4350 with the FED #210 primer.
This is a fairly mild load in my gun. Seat it to just touch the origin of the lands.

Thanks for your input,I ended up with 49.8 ofIMR4350 with the Sierra 100 gr HPBT Matchkings.I have an oal of 3.210 and it shoots real consistent and accurate at 100yds.
