Quite possibly true as I am known for getting my ei and ie mixed up on a regular basis. Have not thought of him in over 40+ years. While not a close friend was a good friend and we had sportscars in common. I knew quite a few pilots at the time, in fact lived across the sidewalk from John McCain.......
