Feeling lucky? Have ago for this one! Win a ride with world’s only P-51 Mustang demo team By AOPA Communications staff Visitors to AOPA’s Big Yellow Tent during EAA AirVenture will have an opportunity to win the kind of prize most aviation enthusiasts only dream of: a flight in a P-51 Mustang, thanks to AOPA’s collaboration with The Horsemen—the world’s only P-51 demonstration team. Throughout the week, people who stop by the tent will have the opportunity to enter a drawing to win a flight with The Horsemen. And that’s not all! The winner and a guest will be flown to an exotic locale where the Horsemen are filming their next video, and put up in a hotel. They will both be outfitted in Horsemen gear. They’ll spend the day with the team, then the winner will take flight with the team, which will be filmed and then played on Air Show Buzz TV. ASB TV is a pioneering new network that transforms your computer and mobile device into the next generation of television. It’s high-def, interactive, and revolutionary. “The Mustang is the iconic American plane of World War II, instantly recognizable to aviation enthusiasts everywhere,” said AOPA President Craig Fuller, who is an avid pilot. “We are extremely grateful to The Horsemen for working with us to make this fantastic opportunity available to our visitors.” The drawing for the ride with The Horsemen will take place on Saturday, Aug. 1. Lord, give me patience 'cuz if you give me strength I'll need bail money!! 'TrapperP'

It will soon again be Reno Air Races time. I went last year; took a bunch of digital pictures. Love them 'Stangs, Glacier Girl, the Tigercats that made the trip. The F-7F is such a beautiful airplane. Love those massive twin radials. Blue Angels are comin' to town this year. Thunderbirds made the scene last year. I enjoyed getting right up close and personal with the F-15 they had last year; took pictures I never thought I could get. Love that work of aluminum and titanium art. I could go on and on...

After they were all in the air he turned to us and said " Last time I saw those in the air , they were over my house in Germany!!"
