Fairly impressive I thought.

description is in order.

He drops the back of the helicopter into the water and allows a rubber raft to to enter it under it's own power. Kind of a different SEAL retrevial system than I've seen in the past.

Rather impressive boatmanship! The rotor wash off those twin rotor egg beaters is comparible to a good sized hurricane!

Yep an it all most pushed him off course at the last 2nd. I guess thats why they have it floored up the ramp!

This is just one of the things that my son used to do when flying in Chinooks. Not shown in that is the fact that the Navy Seals come in on those inflatable boats and drive right into the aircraft. There will be 5 or 6 boats at a time and they stack the boats on top of each other inside of the chopper. After all of the men, boats, and chopper crew are in it is pretty well full. I had the opportunity to watch them practice in one of our southern states. I was, and am so proud of my son. He had 13 tours of duty over there, and was shot down once. Thankfully he made it home every time.

I've seen some of those Chinook drivers do very impressive things with those big birds. You must be very proud of your son.
