Hummmmm Let's hope and pray we won't need these for defending this nation or our military anytime soon. Looks like we have a looong way to go before the F-35 is really "Combat Ready". http://www.defensenews.com/art...-due-to-wiring-issue ___________________ Just Remember, We ALL Told You So.

"The root cause of the problem was determined to be use of nonconforming material for the tubing insulation and improper manufacturing processes during fabrication of the cooling lines," it said in a statement. "The non conforming material that was used is not compatible with fuel, causing degradation of the insulation and resulting in it falling off the tubing." Lockheed works with several suppliers that are responsible for manufacturing the coolant lines, but Rein declined to disclose which of its subcontractors had been responsible for the nonconforming part. The company plans to continue to work with that supplier in future F-35 lots, he said. "There has been no discussion about changing doing business with them," he said. A skeptic might say the purpose of the F35 is corporate pork and defending the Nation is a long way further down the list. for every hour in front of the computer you should have 3 hours outside

Seems to be how weapon systems are developed these days - every state gets a piece of the action. ___________________ Just Remember, We ALL Told You So.

Not corporate pork, POLITICAL pork as the only way to get one of these weapons systems approved is by having parts being made in every state of the Union. The F-35 needs a new engine and a new wing......

And a software makeover... Maybe we can turn it into a drone or a really cool static display at air museums or a ride at the fair. ___________________ Just Remember, We ALL Told You So.
