Must have been pretty good job of ditching an airplane.

ALLEN W. JOHNSON - DRSS

Into my heart on air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.

My hats off to the flight crew. he brought her in straight and kept the people calm.

I guess if you have to ditch a plane, you cant ask for a better outcome.

I'm sure the lawsuits will start after everybody forgets how the pilot saved there tails.

A lesson in irony

The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing this year the greatest amount of free Meals and Food Stamps ever, to 46 million people.

Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us... "Please Do Not Feed the Animals." Their stated reason for the policy is because "The animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves."

Thus ends today's lesson in irony.

Once again, a fellow Airline Captain and his crew, making the extraordinary look easy.

My hat's off to you sir!

Despite my little pun about the Polar Bear Club.

"99.98% of the time, airline captains are over-paid, pompous, arrogant A..Holes - but, oh, the value of their performance that other .02%!" [[Not my quote!!]]
Great job, cool headed display professionalism.
My congratulations and kudos to both of you. We greatly appreciate it.
