I thought it interesting that the engine nacelles were fashioned as a cold jet of sorts. There was a cooling fan behind the prop spinner that forced air through the cylinder banks. This combined with waste heat from the oil cooler and exhaust to produce several hundred pounds of thrust per engine out the nozzle at the rear of the nacelle. Pretty ingenious.
