THIS IS QUITE THE MACHINE.

This 5 minute video was filmed yesterday in Naples, Florida and I am distributing this for you to watch and be amazed. Franky Zapata riding the “Fly board Air” just set a world record for distance traveled of 7,388 ft. The board has 4 small turbojet engines (used in RC model aircraft) for lift, and 2 smaller engines – one on the side for stabilization. The backpack is really a fuel pack and not meant for flotation. There is a remote to control the vertical thrust, and the control of the craft is through the shifting of the person’s balance. Can you imagine the military’s interest and possibilities? Super cool! I wonder how he controls it? Looks like he had something in his right hand.

Yes indeed. He had a hand controller in his right hand. Apparently hand and body controlled. I counted six micro jet engines when I stop framed. Fuel likely stored in the backpack. Estimated 60 mph? With a 5 minute duration it brings up interesting options for the decades old "flying soldier' concept. That is around 1 mile per minute at least. Fascinating.

What language was the announcer speaking?

I'd be real worried about what happens when(not if) one of those toy jet engines fails in flight. There will be no recovery from that low altitude. Still it is very cool

That would be fun, but I am likely too old and feeble to pull it off.
I'm not completely broke down, but I am guessing you have to be quick and up on your game to "pilot" that thing.
