From Mark Pyle, the “Last Clipper”. Interesting aviation feat at the beginning of WWII.

I would dearly love to be able to go back in time and fly a Clipper!

Jim Wooten (who used to post on AR) bought on GunBroker an H&H .375 Express on a Mannlicher action. It was in wonderful shape and a great shooter, but that was just part of a great find.

Unknown to Jim, the gun came with the original leather and brass case which and priceless stickers all over it from its travels around the world. There were Pan Am stickers from many of the places the Clippers landed. Neither the case, or the stickers were pristine, but they were (and are) in great shape and really showed that the gun had "been there and done that!".

I'll call Jim and try to get him to take a picture of the case. It is super cool!

JudgeG ... just counting time 'til I am again finding balm in Gilead chilled out somewhere in the Selous.
