Of course that was a barnstorming act. They rigged the wheel assembly to fall off on take off then had the wing walker perform the "repair" in flight. Smiler

Rigged wheel or not she still had to transfer between planes, walk the wing, climb down, put the wheel on and then climb back on the wing for the landing

It was one hell of a dangerous stunt and it took some serious strength, agility, skill and a huge pair of iron clad lady balls! And it was an act designed and choreographed to produce, drama, chills, thrills and attract paying crowds.

Barnstorming was not an easy, safe or secure way to make a living! Cool
