Yeah He is squeezing 400 HP out of a 6 CYLINDER Lycoming Engine which is quite remarkable in itself.

Note: I have noticed in the last 40 years at Airshows that the majority of Horizontal Opposed Piston Engines used in Aerobatic Planes are LYCOMING.

I have seen up close how much HARD USE a 540 Lycoming 6 Cylinder Engine can withstand in a Piper Pawnee Ag plane.[PA-25] It is quite impressive. [0-540 and IO-540]
