The article quotes IATA as saying the African accident rate is six times worse than the rest of the world. That's worse than I thought, but I don't climb on African carriers unless there's a dire emergency, now that I don't have to anymore. It just blows my mind how all these hunters will blindly get on an African carrier and somehow think they're safe. Anyway, rant concluded. Yes. Since black empowerment took over, I don't fly SAA. I did in '05 and got quite a shock, since I used to fly cargo contract for the great, old SAA. Never again. | |||
