The article quotes IATA as saying the African accident rate is six times worse than the rest of the world. That's worse than I thought, but I don't climb on African carriers unless there's a dire emergency, now that I don't have to anymore. It just blows my mind how all these hunters will blindly get on an African carrier and somehow think they're safe.

Yes. Since black empowerment took over, I don't fly SAA. I did in '05 and got quite a shock, since I used to fly cargo contract for the great, old SAA. Never again.
