Don't the Brits know how to make flat runways ?? They can't even do that on aircraft carriers !

Whoop-de-do runways and cars that leak oil and have inadequate heaters or tops (think Triumph, Jag, Austin Healy, Sunbeam, etc.) Methinks they lost a few too many good men in the last century's wars.

Of particular interest are those who realized things were not under adequate control and made the decision to go around. We are programmed to land out of the approach and breaking that mindset is not easy.

Possibly the Brits use levels made by Lucas?

I mean even foreshortening by L-O-N-G telephoto lens
shouldn't show that "whoop-do-woop"
