I took this a couple of months ago. I am flying my 365 HP Steen Firebolt. We were getting warmed up for the aerobatic competition season this year doing some easy maneuvering and getting used to hanging in the straps again.

The guy in the front seat has a "luxurious" head of blond hair, so excuse its unruly treaspase into the camera from time to time.

Maneuvers

Loops, slow rolls, humpty Bumps, Immelmann, inverted table tops.

A day without spew is like a day without sunshine!

Into my heart on air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.

Is that a D or S variant? That 365 appears to really make that thing scoot.

It's actually a Firebolt. So it basically a D variant with a slightly longer fuselage, solid leading edges and a few other slight variations. It does scoot with the 365 on it. I'm getting 155 to 160 knots true in cruise.

Here's another one. Getting more polished and ready for the IAC competition in two weeks.

You've got to work up to it for sure. Aerobatics is not something most people can just jump in and do without some acclimation.
