I want one now...

I'll identify several reasons why this will never become mainstream.

1. Weather. If you can't use it in adverse weather you can't use it as daily commuter.

2. Airframe icing, see weather above.

3. Airspace constraints.

4. Max gross weight and balance limitations. The average idiot will over load this thing and kill himself.

5. Performance limitations due to high density altitudes.

6. Air traffic congestion. If you think texting and driving is bad just wait until the unwashed masses start texting and flying.

Unfortunately due to the complexities involved this is yet another airplane commuter pipe dream. But it does look cool on paper.

maybe I missed it but did it any anywhere how long it could fly between "charges"

You guys spoil everything.

Can't wait to see it flying in formation with a Moller Aircar.
