I know we have members here who have flown the C-130 Hercules. Wondering if any here are old enough to have flown the C-124 Globemaster, "Old Shaky." When we lived in Tacoma in the 1960s, it seems there were endless formations of C-124s taking off from McChord AFB hauling men and supplies to Viet Nam. By the time we left the Puget Sound in 1968, the C-140 Starlifter was already replacing these old workhorses. Really, really miss being near regular military air traffic, and I sure do appreciate it when you pilots post your experiences.
