I did some design work on the C-5 project, and while I have spoken with pilots a fair amount over the years, I've never run across any that have flown the bird. Any here have any experience with the type?

Closest I ever got was a good friend who flew the B model out of dover AFB. Haven't seen him in years. He liked the airplane a lot.

FWIW, I have a friend who is a retired USAF Colonel, who flew the C-5 his whole career and loved the plane. I also have a friend whose son flys the C-17. Lou
