Rifle No. 11, Sako AII .308 Winchester, SN 354539
This is the earlier version of the AII with the pre-"Hunter" stock. The stock is essentially like the prior L579 with its triangular forearm and no palm swell. It exhibits the herringbone checkering pattern on the front checkering panel. The stock is matte finished and shows only a few field marks. Bore is excellent. .308's seem to be much harder to find in the Forester/L579/AII than .243's. Tag price $1,300. Closeout price $1,000.
