Serial number is N22190, made in 1956 at the original Marlin factory in New Haven, CT. Straight stock, 20" bbl. "Mountie" rifle in great condition. Bore is perfect as is the functioning. I believe this was the first year they were D&T'd for a scope although it requires a 2 hole base as that's all they did back then, 2 holes in the front of the receiver top. You can search for an original Marlin scope base on Ebay but there are plenty out there by Weaver and others. JM marked barrel, Bullseye in stock, great buttplate.
