Michael RobinsonMark, it’s the standard Blaser one-piece scope mount.
It clamps with two captive hex bolts (or QD levers) to cut-outs machined into the top of the barrel.
It’s easily detachable and, together with the barrel-to-stock fastening mechanism, which consists of two captive hex nuts inside the stock that tighten onto corresponding barrel mounted bolts, always returns the rifle to zero after disassembly and reassembly.
You can see it pretty clearly in some of the photos above.
