Looking for a Tikka Superlite stainless 22-250 1:8” twist. I don’t know if they even make this model with a 1:8” inch twist. I know they make the un-fluted “lite” version with the 1:8” twist, but need the lighter weight Superlite version, if at all possible. Prefer new or not shot much condition.

Looking for my elderly Coyote hunting buddy, who is 5’ 7” 155lbs and 71 years old. He’s starting to have a hard time carrying around his heavy 220 Swift, and wants something a good bit lighter. His 220 Swift happens to be a Kimber varminter that was reburied by Greg Tannel with a 1-7” twist. He likes to shoot the 77 grain Sierra TMK’s, as they buck the wind on breezy days.

Heed the words of Winston Smith in Orwell's 1984:

"Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right."

don't think ive ever seen a superlight 8". i have one of the regular t3x lite in 8tw. it's fantastic straight from the factory. I shoot 85gr nosler RDFs and 70gr hammer hunters.

several of those on GB currently. No 8" models on tikka's site currently other than the heavy varmint models.

Their website sucks, but Wildcat composite stocks out of canada makes a really lightweight stock for tikkas. my buddy has 3 of them, i think they average about 20oz. He beds/finishes the stocks himself. but i think wildcat will sell a finished version as well. IIRC my factory stock is about 30oz.

Hopefully he can find one, they're great rifles.
