This is a custom I bought second hand. My understanding is Mr. Satterlee did a significant amount of the work on this rifle. It was coated with NP3 and essentially appears to be a stainless rifle. Rifle is in 30-06. Has a 24” Douglas air gauged grade barrel. Shoots very well. 3 position safety is installed. Timney trigger. High tech specialties (Bansner) stock with 13.75” LoP. I will be keeping the Leica seen in the pictures. Talley bases on it. Timney trigger. Rifle weighs approximately 7.5#. Sights are Williams sights.

I remember that rifle.
It's one that someone else barreled and coated but didn't have the stock bedded right.
I re-bedded it in Marine-Tex and painted it and fit up one of my 3 position safeties.
I also shot a few groups with it, that's standard practice for all rifles I work on.
It would make someone a good economical working rifle in a caliber that makes sense.
