BTT-Will offer $2500 as a starting price for original slightly used condition for a Sporting Deluxe Carbine or a 336A Deluxe with Bishop wood in 32 Special. I have a extra 32 Spl. A DeLuxe that I could trade toward either of the above rifles. Also have an extra 35 Rem Deluxe to trade. Lets talk if you have one FS or gathering dust.

Might this help? It's from the 1959 issue of "The Shooter's Bible". If it's not helpful I can remove this post.
It appears that there's an easily missed difference between the models with "BISHOP STYLE MONTE CARLO STOCK" and the ADL with "MONTE CARLO STOCK AND CHEEK-PIECE DESIGNED AND MADE BY BISHOP". The only obvious difference I can see is the addition of a cheekpiece and a sling on the ADL model. See the boxed note at the bottom of the page.

Hi bpesteve-Thank you for the pix. Certainly helps me. I was starting to believe they never made the 32 Spl. LOL Now I now it was offered. I have 2 of the 32Spl ADL's but the Bishop has eluded me along with the SD. Sure wish I could order a oouple of those for $100. LOL I have 3 of the bishops, 2 SD's, 3 ADL's. Again Thank you. Hunter

The 32 special was always very uncommon in a Marlin, and the Bishop stocked ones are virtually non existent. In the 50s and 60s, the Marlin was the most common deer rifle in the hills where I am from; half were 30-30 and half were 35. No 32s. Except in Winchesters.

In the FWIW dept., you can form your own 32 win brass from 375 Win, with just one pass in the sizing die. That info + a buck will get you a cup of coffee.
