Feel your pain. When my 57M was new it got dropped while in a soft case. From the bench to the floor but the wrist snapped in half (ugg). Cooper replaced it for a lot of cash with a beautiful stock, one grade below exhibition grade. In process of selling it now and it is still one of my favorite pieces of wood (and I've had some really nice shotgun stocks.) Just another story while passing through.
