I have a 1961 browning superposed, 12 gauge, with 26 inch barrels. Pretty wood in great condition, the lever is far right of center.

It has the factory case with it as well.

Does anybody want to take a guess on its value?

Depends on several things.

1. Is it a long tang and round knob?
2. Has the stock been altered in any way?
3. Does it have a butt plate or recoil pad?
4. I assume it has IC and Mod chokes?
5. 28" are more desirable.
6. How is the bluing?

A beater that has been hunted a lot and altered will sell for $1200-$1500.
A mint gun with no alterations and in 98% condition will get about $2200-$2700.

I have several and have bought a few.

1. I’ll have to see if it has a long tang.
2. Stock has never been altered.
3. Factory recoil pad.
4. I’ll have to look at the chokes.
5. Blueing in great condition, it has been babied its whole life.

I think I’m going to sell it, I’ll get some pictures up soon.
