Hi All; I have a rifle that needs to be sold, but I have no clue what this is worth. New in the original box. Pre 64 Winchester Model 70 in .243. Never fired, no safe dings, no handling marks. Serial number shows it was made in 1959. Standard rifle with Monte Carlo stock. This is not my gun, but belongs to my hunting partner for the last 30 years. He has owned it for 12 years. I'd like to help him out to sell it but neither of us knows what to ask. I can forward some photos if you need. Thanks in advance Raff

If it is a std weight with 24" bbl it is rare and worth more than the featherweight..They made slightly more of them than the 458 Win..worth what hikerbum has indicated to collector..JM

If the box is in good condition and the rife is pristine I will pay $1800 and pay immediately. Thanks Wesley
