This is the very first rifle Rich Mckinney built under the Schuetzen Gun co. name, marked Loveland CO, serial#101, chambered in .45-70 and remaining in outstanding condition. Excellent bore, beautiful wood, lovely case color hardening. The rifle comes with a spare firing pin and two spare under lever springs as well as a breech seater, owner says sell it, SPF

I do not, Richard does. It was built for Mike McCormick who owned Cache La Poudre rifle shop in Ft. Collins. My understanding is that Mike loaned Richard the money to buy some equipment that this rifle was at least part of the repayment. This is a standard Sharps, not one of his Freund conversions that he built later in his career.

Drat…I do not need this rifle. I have fond memories of the Cache Le Poudre gun shop and my folks live in Loveland. Someone please buy this thing quick…
