This is a very nice old, vintage, Remington 700. The barrel code., AK, makes it March 1963. These are the original 7 mm magnums from Remington, ones with the 24" stainless steel barrels that they somehow blued. It definitely has that Roy Weatherby type vibe from the 50s and 60s. This gun was carried way more than it was shot, some little things and marks in the stock, but the bolt face and the bore look new. I never thought I would say this, but the white line spacers have aged gracefully to an ivory and look pretty good. As does the forend tip. The ventilated pad is not hard and crusty. All in all, a nice gun for someone who wants a vintage hunter. C&R eligible. Link to pics.... $950 plus, shipping. ![]() ![]() | ||
