Sante Fe has a reputation as far as I know for poorly made guns, and this one fits the reputation. Quality of work is poor, receiver scrubbed of all markings (DWM Brazilian 1908 Action) bolt handle bent (poorly), rear ring has stripper clip guide removed (poorly), fitted to a clubby 2x4 stock (poorly).

Other than the poor craftsmanship, the rifle is in excellent to like new condition.

Chambered in 30-06.

Must ship to 01.

Moved to Gunbroker

Well, that Hass to be one of the most candid, frank, and blunt descriptions of a for sale item I have ever read!

I have been told I am a terrible sales man. I take that as a compliment. My good looks and charm wouldn't get me far in life anyway. dancing

Maybe the best description I have seen in my 18 years of membership! Best of luck with the sale!

You need a lesson in creative marketing. Post a picture.
Accentuate the positive attributes of it; the negative ones are in in the picture. As in, I'm sure it shoots one hole groups. Do not mention a range. Bluing is near NRA Good (which actually can be rusted and pitted) There is one AR member always looking for beaters that his clients can't hurt. And some guys are looking for pigs that will perform but don't care about looks. Just like they pick their women.

Ray, with a surface grind, drill and tap, and bolt handle, it would be a good functional action. Personally I would rather start with something that wasn't already modified.

Listed on gunbroker (starts tonight at 8PM EST) with a $1 starting bid and a $400 BIN.
