Bitterroot
Yes sir... you built one for me and not only is it a hammer, it's a damned accurate one!
On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch... Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it, And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son! - Rudyard Kipling
Life grows grim without senseless indulgence.

| First I have noticed this; whose idea was it to put the billboard on the side of the receiver? That is UGLY! First thing I would do it get rid of that. |

I have used the magnum action for the 500 Jeffery in the past and they work well with plenty of 'smithing. The action is really too long for the Jeffery but if you modify the magazine box length and the ejector length they work. The standard length action is the same size ( pretty much) as the Mauser 98 so you can go that route also. Still lots of work to get the Jeffery functioning properly. I make a single-stack magazine box that I use for the 600 Overkill but it is a little wide and long on the inside for the Jeffery. You can make one the proper size, along with a follower. I am out of the "Rigby" actions; just sold the last one. Still plenty of the belted magnum (375 H&H) and standard actions (30-06). |

Haaaaaa. Well done. I need a new FFL transfer crew. As Jim on here can attest, my guys have struggled with the last couple I have bought sans the banner. :-). |

Indeed. Hope all is well. I thought you were still crafting full customs? Let me know if you come across some .700 AHR brass hidden under the bottom of those actions. :-) |

| All is well. I will be finishing up the several custom rifle orders that I have, then focus on building some projects that I've always wanted to do, mostly personal, but a few will come up for sale now and then. I will still make parts for the custom gun trade and expand on that I hope. Also planning on spending a lot more time in the woods. I will not be taking any more custom orders. Cheers, Wayne |

Congratulations! Well done and well deserved. You have left a heck of a mark on the industry and your rifles will be cherished for generations (obviously) and folks will long for the day when you were actively creating rifles. :-). Seriously, kudos for a great career! Enjoy the next chapter(s)! |
