All, I appreciate your help and suggestions on how best to present these rifles for sale. Again, I do not want to overwhelm the Firearms Classified section, so will make four posts listing the guns. This first will by Sauer rifles, the next will be H-S Precision, then Sako’s from the pre-Garcia era followed by Beretta shotguns and a few Winchester Model 70’s and 9422’s. What I did not say in the previous post is that I have about 10-12 somewhat high end rifles. These are exceptionally nice and well built. I have contracted a well known and respected gun builder to examine, describe (better than I can do) and market these guns. The bottom line is - I am really good at buying about anything, but lousy at knowing exactly what I bought. In other words, I want an expert to help me sell these high end items so that there are no issues about what I sold. I will post his link to the guns when he has posted them. Let me restate my caveats or terms - Here are my "caveats". For instance, I am a hunter, like everyone here. I am not a collector. I am not a gunsmith. I am not a certified/trained inspector or descriptor of gun condition per the NRA standards. I will state if I have fired the gun and the results. I will give all of the details I have and my best effort to describe the condition. For payment, I accept personal checks or USPS money orders. I decided to drop Paypal due to issues with getting blocked. For shipping, I will state if shipping is included. Every gun will be shipped in a cardboard gun box with the gun protected by styrofoam or a soft case that is packed with bubble wrap. Bolts will be taken out and wrapped. Every gun unless face to face must go to an FFL that accepts shipments from individuals. I will not be able to sell to California or places that require special paperwork. I can sell to Alaska but the shipping will be higher unless I use the USPS. I do not accept returns for anything other than a gross mistake in the description. Here goes – The following are from Jon Sauer & Sons or just known as Sauer. SOLD 1. Sauer 100 Model S 100, .300 Win Mag, as new, unfired, end of barrel is threaded for a suppressor and has an end cap. Talley rings and bases are installed and included. No open sites. Will ship with paperwork and manuals but no original box. Price is $1000 shipped. SOLD 2. Sauer 100 Model S 100, .308 Win, as new, unfired, end of barrel is threaded for a suppressor and has an end cap. Talley rings and bases are installed and included. No open sites. Will ship with paperwork but no original box. Price is $1000 shipped Both guns are wood stocks, stain finish, nothing fancy. The gunsmith that threaded the barrels said he shoots the very basic Sauer in his personal guns due to accuracy and simplicity of the action. I like these rifles but prefer the more “Winchester-ish” bolt movement. I bought both of these new in the last two years. 3 SOLD Sauer 202 in .300 Win Mag, lightly used, no issues, minor handling marks. Comes with installed Talley rings and bases. Factory sights were installed by a Sauer trained gunsmith. Extra magazine is included. Fit and finish is very nice as you would expect. Uniquely included are a ball bearing snap in type sling swivel. It is not a swivel per se, but a recess that accepts the snap/quick release type sling swivels. I have not shot this gun. Price is $2000 shipped. 4. Sauer 404 Classic XT in .404 Jeffery and 7mm Rem Mag. Comes in a very stout and compact travel case. This is a synthetic stock model with a the premium Sauer Quattro trigger system. This case does not hold the second barrel, but holds all other extras. Both bolt heads included. 1 30mm QD scope mount included as well. Sling is included. All paperwork. The rifle was bought new from Gordy and Sons in Houston and only test fired. Rifles shoots as expected with factory ammo (less than 1 MOA). I have some sales info on this that is on the Sauer website. If you are interested in this one, I really want to send you some pics and be sure all of your questions are answered. If you are a knowledgeable and experience Sauer guy, you know about the capabilities of this rifle. I plan to send it to my expert gun builder to better describe it. Gordy and Sons sells this for $5295 currently. I paid a little under that. Price is $4350 shipped. Also, I have 80 pieces of new .404 Jeffery brass made by RWS that I will sell at a very good price should you want this rifle. 5. Colt Sauer Sporting Rifle in 7mm Rem Mag. This is one of the older models from the 1970’s when these high gloss wood, high gloss bluing rifles were in vogue. LOP – 13 ½”, barrel is 23”. It is not the pencil barrel but a regular contour. The condition is good used with some marks in the wood/finish and some blueing wear at the muzzle. The barrel is marked “Colts P.T. F.A. Mfg Co., Hartford CT USA” . The action is marked “Colt Sauer Sporting Rifle”, “Made in West Germany by J.P, Sauer and Sohn”. No rings or bases. The holes are filled with the correct screws. No open sights. The action is incredibly smooth. I am not sure why we do not have that type of action these days. I cannot address the trigger other than it is crisp with no over travel. This is another one that I will send to my gun builder expert to get a detailed look as I do not know these guns well. If you really know the older Weatherby looking Colt Sauer’s, then you know what I have. I really would want a serious buyer to see pictures. Price is $2500 shipped. That is it for now. More coming.

I am about to list that Sauer 202 by itself. I am struggling to understand why it is not getting scooped up quickly - excellent rifle, less than 1 MOA, excellent condition, priced WITH Talley's. Would sell the scope with it if someone wants a Swarovski, ships in a soft case, had open sights. This is the gun the guys on Wild Boar Fever shoot in those European driven hunts. It is balanced and shoots very well. I have a 404 and it does the same.

Bidenomics is killing everyone. Times are tough right now. People are having trouble paying their bills, getting groceries and affording gas. Though you have some VERY nice rifles right now, these are trying times. Hang tight- they will move eventually.
