I recently got a Ruger Number 1 in 405 Winchester as part of a trade. I was considering punching the chamber out to 450/400 but I picked up another Ruger in that caliber. Then I considered rebarreling to another caliber. I’ve decided I’d like to wring out a Sharps or do some hunting with a large frame lever action. I’m flexible on caliber. If anyone has either of these rifles and an interest in a trade, PM me. My 405 comes with 50 new brass and a set of loading dies.

Thanks,

RC

Would consider trades for larger caliber Number 1s, other single shots, or sale for $1750 shipped. Includes brass and reloading die set.

Any interest in a number one in 375? It’s a black pad gun, and I would say that the level of figuring in the wood and overall condition is comparable to your 405. I also have a 416 Rigby number one I might part with, not sure.
