Wisner 3 position MOD 70 type safety, Timney Mauser featherweight trigger,CM Douglas custom contoured barrel. Bolt release, front and rear sight bases metal checkered. Original FN Deluxe Classic factory stock with cheek piece in a piece of very attractive French walnut. Stock reinforced and bedded by Jim Wisner including stock inletting for a second recoil lug on the barrel. Red Pachmayr 1” 752 Decelerator recoil pad to uncut stock for a 14 3/8” L.O.P.. Custom machined Talley bases. Wisner rear banded sight base with additional barrel recoil lug. Wisner banded front sight with NECG Red Fiber Optic front bead. Rear NECG express sights.
Bolt handle checkered two panel. Working rifle designed to be used ,built by one of the top ACGG metal smiths . Custom engraved lettering by Roger Kehr. , 8lbs 5oz, 25” barrel @ .650.

Thank you. I too feel the same way about those rifles / stocks that came out of FN during that time period. The stocks have a lot of handwork and a design much like a G&H of the day including a large amount of well executed checkering and a durable and attractive stock finish.

Oh. I see the stock mentioned as original FN now. It sure didn't look like Jim Wisner quality. Neat piece though.

Excellent rifle. Just have too many, but still it's hard to resist!
