Absolutely; push feeds are easier to load on the run than a Mauser, where you have to put the round into the mag box first. Just drop it into the chamber. You can't do that with a stock 98 Mauser. Guys are in love with CRF without knowing how they work and the reason for their existence. It's not single round loading for sure, that was the reason. In fact, German soldiers were taught to never load one round; always load 5 rounds from a clip. The US Army does not use CRF bolt actions and they do work. | |||
