I used it to say that if there was to be UNIVERSAL EU Gun Law then member states should not, as is now, be allowed to put into force stricter and more restrictive domestic gun law than that of the "new" uniform gun law.

Thanks.

It's hard to know whether it's a good or a bad idea to take part in that survey.

Firstly you have to identify yourself and secondly, it's full of loaded questions.

What do others think?

Nah, don't think I'll be participating in this "questionaire" ..... pretty much anything outa Brussels lately makes me wonder what sort of alternative agenda is lurking.

.... and Oh, there will be one sooner or later ...... and it will not be in the best interests of Private Legal Firearms Owner's. I gurantee they(us) will not even have a say in the matter.

Cheers,

I've looked at the questions.
They are very general.
I looks to me as if someone in the EU who knows very little about it is looking to use the responses to this survey as a mandate to produce an overarching layer of legislation.
