Did not seem as busy this year and the Saturday was maybe quieter due to the football between BVB and Berlin in the afternoon.

Nevertheless a great show - some new outfitters but usual emphasis on Europe and Namibia. Canada and NZ also there.

Blaser has taken over a huge part of the show with Blaser Safaris and Blaser guns, big stands and big interest.

The hit in the vehicles and equipment hall was without doubt the new LR Defender, on sale from May 2020. The one at the show had a ticket price of EUR 98.000 !

I was there three days, two with Charl van Rooyen and his wife Erika and also JaegerFrank and then Saturday with my son. Picked up a loden jacket and booked a mufflon trip in Hungary for late this year. Also spent a couple of hours talking to Franz Ritter, Gunsmith, about a possible Argentine 1909 project !

Dortmund is always fun!

Ps Dennis, sorry I missed you on Saturday but we will catch up soon, I promise!

Dortmund is the biggest show I have ever been to.

I have only been to the Sheep Show and that was a long time ago.

I was sad to miss J&H this year, especially after going 3 years in a row 2017-2019.

You guys have fun. I wanted to go to the 2019 show as it included the World Taxidermy Championships.

Not sure about 2020, but have a good time.
