Then I need to turn the whole thing into salami as I think it is the most addictive thing out there!!

I brought some Estonian boar salami and moose salami home with me and can't walk past the fridge without taking a couple of slices off!!

I still have he boar version and will bring it to AR weekend.

The 1st moose I shot was in 1967 (Alaska) with a beautiful set of 66" antlers - beautiful but tough as what-ever you might imagine so I had all the meat mixed 50/50 with pork to make sausage. They had 2 styles - regular and hot and when I told the butcher make it have regular and half hot he gave me a sample of "hot" and I changed the order to 100% regular.

I hosted a Friday-nite poker game and the sausage was gone well before Spring Break-Up - and it was a lot of sausage.

Now you're talking,

Poker whiskey and cured meats. Liberally seasoned with a bunch of hunting stories....

Now where can I get some of that?

As Chief of USAF Weather in Alaska I got to know quite a few bush pilot's, transporter's and guides's -- and I had a really good tour of duty - a really good tour. tu2
