Big Wonderful WyomingChristmas Markets
We have been hitting the local Christmas markets and decided to make it to Trier today. Wonderful but small and very crowded.
We are going to try the Rodenberg au Taber next week some time. It was a bit more of a drive than I wanted to buy into this morning.

boarkillerYou are having too much fun there
Enjoy it
" Until the day breaks and the nights shadows flee away " Big ivory for my pillow and 2.5% of Neanderthal DNA flowing thru my veins.
When I'm ready to go, pack a bag of gunpowder up my ass and strike a fire to my pecker, until I squeal like a boar.

Big Wonderful Wyoming@ Fjold,
Is he a hunter? If please extend the olive branch for me. I am starting my Jagdschein class in March. It is the next one in the region.
@Boarkiller,
Yes we are, we move into our house in a couple weeks. Trying to find a second vehicle. Cars are a pain in the ass here.
Great boss, great brand new office, can't complain. A building next to my office has a German military canteen. They have Jager Schnitzel that is out of this world for 7 Euro with fries, and a salad.
Last night we had currywurst, 4 or 5 different preztels with cheese, sausage, onions on them, two bottles of apple schorle and it was about 13 Euro.
Love it here!

My nephew's not a hunter, unfortunately.

Big Wonderful WyomingWe did Rothenberg a. d. Tauber last weekend. Wondeful place.
It seems both the Allieds and Germans did not want Rothenberg to get destroyed, so they negotiated a deal to keep it alive.
Amazing place, loved it.
We are going to enjoy not living in a hotel now that we are moving in our house this weekend. We have a lot of things to get started on this week here. We are headed to Jagd and Hund in Dortmond, if we can find a hotel room big enough for all 5 of us. If not I'll just day trip it. But it is 3 hours away. Big family travel in Europe seems a lot harder. I had a hard time finding a hotel meant for 5 people.

Kuwinda.......I feel sure there must be a very, very long word in German signifying "complete-over-indulgence-in-Christmas-markets".
Had a few days with my wife in Berlin on the way to a driven boar hunt in Poland last week - vast quantities of gluhwine, bratwurst and gemuchtlekeit. Christmas over-indulgence bit time.
The piggies were good though - well two days out of three. Unfortunately the camera flash was broken.

Big Wonderful WyomingWe have small children 5, 3, 1 so we only go early in the day. The party aspect of it hasn't usually started until we are gone.
