NEW REGULATION FOR THE EXPORT OF GAME TROPHIES TO EU The new regulation 142/2011 on byproducts that develops the regulation 1069/2009, that repeals regulation 177472002, establishes that the veterinary certificate that comes with any export of game trophies to the EU must be completed with the register number of the plant where the trophies where treated and that that register number must be included on the relevant TRACES list for the country of origin. TRACES is an European data base or follow up system that includes all lists of approved and authorized establishments from third countries that can export food and animal products to Europe, and that allows all European Member States to use the same data base when checking for the approved list. Any consignment of game trophies that wants to enter the EU, as from 1 of May, must be accompanied by a veterinary certificate that includes the register number. Prior to any shipment the Third Countries must send to European Commission the list of registered establishments that can treat game trophies. https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/s...sPerActivity_en.htm# Section VI : Game trophies plants PDF Documents (last change date) Belarus (11/07/2011) Brazil (03/06/2011) Canada (14/07/2011) Chile (11/07/2011) Croatia (Local Name: Hrvatska) (28/04/2011) Kyrgyzstan (05/07/2011) Mauritius (28/06/2011) Mexico (07/07/2011) Namibia (29/06/2011) New Zealand (04/03/2011) Nigeria (16/06/2011) Russian Federation (01/07/2011) Serbia (13/05/2011) South Africa (15/07/2011) Tanzania, United Republic Of (14/06/2011) United States (09/03/2011) Zambia (01/07/2011) Zimbabwe (27/06/2011) | ||
