are there any german firms who makes really good traditional bolt-action rifles?

what i'm really looking for is the german counterpart to W.J.Jeffery, Rigby, etc.
(by the way, the M98 and M98 magnum is too expensive).

Apparently, Hartmann und Weiss are top quality, but there are also other high end smiths in Germany. E.g.

Give Alois Mayr a call. He builds his rifles with a british look. His prices are very good.
He builds a working mans rifle but stll better quality than the brit makers you mentioned.

His number is (088 23) 22 42 You can't go wrong with a Hartmann and Weiss. Both Alois and Gerhart Hartmann are friends of mine and I know they have respect for each other still Alois will build one for sure cheaper.
