Hi,
How did everyone's hunts go during the roar? I imagine the breeding is still in full swing and will continue for about a week. I was lucky enough to shoot my first stag (11pts) the day before yesterday in the Czech Republic and was amazed by...
1-The smell--the animals have an incredible odour which really sticks to clothing and skin
2-The strictness of Central European hunting guides was no joke as we looked over 30 males before getting the OK.
3-The single mindedness of the males during the rut, many times only the hinds knew/cared that we were there...
