I have two main shooting aims for this year, once the pheasant shooting is over. The first is to go feral goat stalking, and the second is to go boar stalking.
Have any of the posters here done either and who would you recommend to go with. i contacted a couple of people last year summer about goats but nearly everyone was appaling at responding.

With all the knowledge on this forum for shooting throughout Europe is is not an idea to have a pined section where people can put contact details for guides/outfitters with whom they ahve had good trips?

Feral goats: you should be closer to that hunting than most of us Continental guys...

Staking boars: there are actually very few places where wild boar are stalked. But maybe you use the term "stalking" in the British sense, i.e. hunting with a rifle??? The traditional way of hunting boars is either from a high seat over bait or on driven hunts. One of the very few places I know of, where boars are taken by stalking (or still hunting - as our US friends might call it), is in Turkey. Fantastic boars, with a bit of luck.

For boar stalking contacts (commercial), try contacting: Diana
