Hi all,

I'm not getting much time to post these days so I'll just keep a few pics going up.

I recently bought a pair of 16 bore boxlocks at Auction. I mentioned them along with some duck shooting pics I posted a while back. Well the alterations were made to the stocks and Dig handed them to me last Saturday while we were heading out for the third annual Vintage Guns shoot we hold each year, (this year we have a second one in December).

Well if anyone buys a gun and shoots it without a fitting I think they would be surprised at the difference it can make. The first drive so some really nice curling birds which I just couldn't put a pattern on before the fitting. This time round things evened out a bit more in my favour...Wink

We also have some photo's from the opening days in Cyprus this year where we shot a few partridges and the odd snake, but they are on Digs camera so I'll wait until he sends them to me.

The Team of Guns:

For those of you wondering I don't always just take pictures of Dig but we seem to constantly draw pegs next to eachother...

Something was mentioned about teapot impressions...

Kiri, the stocks on the 16's look fantastic, they are not an average pair of boxlock's. Looking forward to getting my mitts on them.

I think my buddy here will make the numbers up for the end of the month.

Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they are not out to get you....

Yep I have earmarked one of them for your use in a couple of weeks. It's just as well it works as the hammer gun has been taken to the smith for a small service and fix up and Dig comes out in a rash when I tun up with my browning 20bore!!

That is cool for your mate to come over then too. The other space I will take as I forgot that I hadn't counted myself into the lineSmiler

Will your friend have a rifle/shotgun or will he want a loaner?

Gerry, I think Dig has earmarked a nice Stephen Grant sidelock for your use. Unfortunately the Gold plated Lang was sold at the gamefair this year... Wink

Rgds,
K
