I've been looking for an equipment vest to use while hunting with our moose hound, and have come across these two variants. Up till now I've used a "fanny pack" to bring with me the stuff I need throughout the day, but would prefer something closer to my body, like the equipment vests I used to use in the military. And as I prefer not to get shot, it has to be colored orange/red/etc.

(Mind you, there won't be any hunting for me this year, due to a serious bicycle accident that now has me in bed, and my ancle held together with scrap metal...
But there's no reason to not start planning for next year!)

It looks to me like the Eagle Industries one is a bit less bulky, and thus maybe more comfortable to wear all day.

Has anyone here tried these, or know of anything simular that's worth checking out?
