I wish we could import some of those huge moose genes, and inject them into our little Norwegian moose!

Oh, I haven't seen anything to make me bay at the moon and wallbang my head so bad since I was 14 and reading Playboy! What an animal! They wouldn't be in season in August would they (he said salivating all over the keyboard)?

Wow.

I knew they had big brown bears there but didn't know about the moose. A spectacular example, even if the gentleman is sitting several metres back Wink.

Maybe a trip to Kamchatka is called for before Alaska. Cool

Nice moose. Is that an old bullet hole in his left antler?

D99, thank you for asking! I represent a safari booking company, which mostly specializes on Eurasia and African packaged hunts. I like the adventure and am happy to socialize with my new friends at this hunting forum!!

P.S. It really looks like a bullet hole : )

Maria, again welcome to the forum.

We merry band of nimrods welcome you.

I have never heard of your company before, and I know most of the big booking agents in Europe and the States.

I am asuming that you have knowledge of the Russian Republics? What land mark hunting event just happened in Russia?

Hello D99, I am sure you didn't hear about RSC. However, you probably have heard about Premier Safaris Inc. Right? RSC was launched as an expansion to Asia / Russia project. So, what happened in Russia? : ) Are you in Europe? RSC is now in Miami Beach, FL now.

I have read reports that many outfits in Kamchatka hunt these moose with a helicopter, and land at a distance only for the final stalk.
Hopefully these guys were taken fairchase.

Now I know why native americans moved their village to the moose instead of moving the moose to their village.
