A 165-180 gr round nose soft point.

You will shoot at running animals which are chased by dogs and with a high dose of adrenaline.

Round nose, conventional bullets seem to "thump" them a lot better than super penetrator spitzers.

As Montero said , a 180 grains round nose ( like the Rem ) it's far better than any premium game , you need something like stopping power , you can't believe how hard to put down a deer with the dogs behind , something like they are using a Kevlar vest , this is why the 9,3 bullets are so popular here in Europe .

Very sensible replies. I would go along with the choice of round nose bullets - preferably the 180 grs as opposed to the 165. If you want to stay with one of your original choices, I'd stay with the Swift A-Frame. It is more "expansion oriented" than either the X or the NP (penetration oriented). Other good options might include bullets like a 220 grs softpoint of some sort - Silvertip for instance. As you'll be shooting at running game, it is VERY unlikley you'll be shooting at anything past 150-200 yds (99% will be within 100 yds and most a lot less than that).
